First Day of School!!!!

Hey Everyone!!!

So today was my first day of highschool!!! When I first got there I grabbed my nametag and sat down to listen to the president (Mr. Alex), The principal (Mr. Tylicki) and The head of the Theology department (Mrs. Nearmeyer) speak. They were all very good!! After that we headed towards the chapel and celebrated mass (remembering to speak loudly, and genuflect correctly!!). Then we split up into numbers according to our name tags ( I was 23!) and had a scavenger hunt throughout the school to get to know where things were a little bit better. The winners with 35 points (that had answered all of the questions) got a cup of candy! Our team won!! (Of Course! Just kidding!)

Then we headed over towards the gym for a game sort of like "Sharks and Minnows" except we called out fruits. Each person was in a different fruit group according to the month of their birthday. I was a Strawberry! As soon as we finished that we prayed and headed over to the cafeteria and they were serving hot dogs and chips, and we took those outside where teachers were handing out Cookies. As soon as my mom picked me up we went straight to my doctors office to get t.b. tests!! I was super scared, but THANKFULLY they weren't bad at all!!

I met alot of people and today was just Juniors and Freshmen. Did you know my class is the first class to go through school with all four grades!?!??!?! It's so cool! Anyways, the seniors and sophmores join us tomorrow, and they juniors are off to a retreat at prarie star ranch. So that's pretty much it....we have half day again tomorrow and then a full day on friday. I don't have my class schedule yet, unfortunately...but that's ok. I'll keep ya posted!!!!

Oh and about my pic uploading, I am trying to find the U.S.B. cable to my camera so I can upload all my pics for you, but in the meantime we are trying to get my pics put on a c.d. so then I can upload them!!! Before classes begin (Aug. 20th) I've still got to buy all my school supplies, figure out what classes i'm in (kinda crucial here!) and get a backpack. Plus I've got like the Last frew pages to my summer reading to finish annotating. So I gotta go, but I promise to keep updating as much as I can. Although when classes begin, I"ll get a chunk of homework everynight, heads up!
