First XC race

Hi Everyone!
This past Saturday our team ran the 3rd race this season, this was my 1st since I missed the first 2. We left school at 7:00 a.m. and my race was at 10 a.m. I'm not sure why, but the people who organized the race put it into only 2 groups this year. JV and Varisty. Rather than having Varisty, JV, and C team for each gender, they only had 2. So I ran with JV and to my surprise I PR'D! (Personal Record).

My time was freakishly slow (this race is 2.5 mi): 27:50.
Here are my times from last year:
MV invitational: 28:49
P Invitational: 29:29
RR 08: 32:21

At our last race I got in the top 20 finishes (14th)! Haha this was last year and I'm JUST NOW realizing it.....*FAIL*
2.4 K G Invitational: 17:25 (this was only 1.5 mi I think?) but I placed 14th in this one :)

Ok, I just thought I'd share....we are starting phase 2 of our training this week. I'm a bit scared because our laid back coach is very concerned about everyone attending this week!
